Carridine

Carridine Poran is an artist and art instructor. As an instructor, besides offering art instruction in traditional areas like drawing, painting, design and art history as well as and story-telling courses, (KAH-ruh deen) founded Carridine Poran Creative Services, a program of art instruction in which artists assist community groups and businesses in the production of group art such as murals, picture stories and oral history forums. These projects are focused on community building and encouraging mentoring relationships.

In his career as an artist, Kerry (for short) has been a galleried fine arts painter and sculptor and an illustrator of literary fiction. As an amateur he has been a playwright, actor, novelist and essayist. His work first and foremost concerns the link the creative life and the life well lived.
